Microbiology

The focus of our testing is on growing cultures and identifying and determining resistance of medical bacteria and fungi from a wide variety of patient materials.

All standard international procedures for microbiological diagnostics are conducted including MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry. Molecular biology methods allow the identification of rare bacteria and fungi that are undetectable with classical methods and are applied for strain typing.
