The Diagnostic and Research Institute for Hygiene, Microbiology, and Environmental Medicine operates a process-oriented quality management system in the fields of patient diagnostics, water hygiene, and microecology.

The water hygiene and microecology division, accredited since 2003 in accordance with the EN ISO/IEC 17020 and EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards, offers professionally sound sampling and high-quality chemical and microbiological analyses and reports.
Our conformity assessment bodies can be found under the numbers 0482 (EN ISO 15189) and 0211 (EN ISO/IEC 17020 and EN ISO/IEC 17025).
In addition, we are certified in other areas in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard. In addition to the requirements of ISO 9001, the quality management system also takes into account technical, professional, and quality assurance requirements for medical diagnostic laboratories with the aim of continuously improving the level of quality.
