Our research focus is on bioaerosols. Bioaerosols are particles of biological origin that are suspended in the atmosphere. High concentrations of dust and microorganisms at different locations indoors and outdoors may lead to adverse health effects.
Various research projects seek to obtain quantitative and qualitative proof of microorganisms and bioaerosols in the air using different technical methods and instruments.
The goals of the projects are to conduct assessments of emissions and immissions indoors and at workplaces in waste management, livestock stables or in the agricultural sector and to evaluate different measuring instruments.
